The last couple of years, I have made an effort to watch as much of the 24 Hours of LeMans as I feasibly can. The SPEED Channel only covers about 18 hours (only, right...), of which, I'm lucky if I can watch 5 hours of which. Generally, the racing is rather monotonous. When a race gets spread over 24 hours and 3000 miles, the races are seldom close (although some races have come down to seconds).
